how did you get permissions to fly drone in Shiprock area?

The Bisti/De-Na-Zin is wilderness. Wilderness Areas - PROHIBITED; Congressionally-designated wilderness areas prohibit motorized vehicles. Drones are considered “motorized vehicles”.

You have got a true skill. I could just put these aerials on my t.v as a screen saver all day. how you manage to capture the vastness and all the most amazing angles is truly a rare skill. keep it up!! I'm moving to Santa Fe next July with my girlfriend and it could not come soon enough.

This is breathtaking as a subject in this light and way. To soar over such beauty is part of our deepest dreams, and to capture it in this way is simply stunning. There is also enough data to use sequential still frames to produce a great 3D model for a VR simulations. I could try some conversions for you if you would like. Sketchfab posts models of castles and pueblos made using drones and Photoscan or Capturing Reality.

Nice video, too bad many of those shots are now considered illegal by the FAA, flying over people, flying at night, and flying in a national park (white sands).
